We have just been informed by Full Tilt Poker that they have changed the way that they calculate rake. We are pleased to announce that Full Tilt Poker is now calculating rake on the Weight Contributed method. The Weight Contributed method is essentially the industry standard and almost all poker sites calculate rake this way. We are very pleased that Full Tilt Poker has finally changed to this fair calculation. All rakeback players will now earn a fair share of rake and rakeback each month based off of the actual play. Previously Full Tilt Poker was using the Dealt rake method and that method encouraged a player to just fold. This new method encourages players to play because Weight contributed is based off of the actual amount of rake that you contribute to the pot.
We also are pleased to announce that Full Tilt Poker has changed the way that Player Points are earned. Now every table for each poker hand will be given 10 Full Tilt Poker Points and those 10 points will be equally contributed to each player that is dealt a hand. You can also now earn Full Tilt Poker Points on all cash games, multi-table tournaments & sit and go’s that take a fee. Please remember that when you use your player points it will be deducted from your rake figure which in turn will be deducted from your rakeback.
